First Congregational Church recognizes, celebrates, and gives thanks for the diversity in which God created us. We are dedicated to the life and work of Jesus Christ and we embrace this diversity in our congregation and community as we offer opportunities for worship, spiritual growth and service. We affirm the dignity and worth of every person created in the image of God.
We welcome into full participation and full membership in the Body of Christ persons of every race, faith history, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, and economic or marital status. Following the example of Jesus Christ, we hereby declare ourselves to be an Open and Affirming Church.
