Our Goals for Mission:1
Food donations
Each week for 11 weeks we will collect specific items to be donated to the CCHASM Food Pantry. Although all donations are gladly accepted, we have assigned a specific theme to help us remember our goal each week.
Aug 28 Canned Vegetables
Sept 4 Fruit (canned or dry)
Sept 11 Peanut Butter & Jelly
Sept 18 Cereals (hot or cold) &
Grains (rice, barley, oats)
Sept 25 Protein (tuna, chicken, chili, beans,
canned ham, etc.)
Oct 2 Seasonings, Sauces, Spices (mayo,
mustard, ketchup, sugar, salad dressing, etc.)
Oct 9 Heat & Eat (mac & cheese, spaghetti-O’s, microwave meals)
Oct 16 Juices & Snacks (bottle & box juices, cookies, granola bars, fruit roll-ups, cracker packages)
Oct 23 Baby Food (jars, formula, baby cereals, etc.)
Oct 30 Soups & Crackers
Nov 6 Thanksgiving items (canned yams, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, gravy, jello, roll/cornbread mixes, instant mashed potatoes)
Nov 6: Metro Richmond CROP Walk
The CROP Walk this year falls during the MISSION:1 campaign. Everyone is encouraged to help us raise money for hunger action and heighten awareness of the issue by participating as a walker or sponsor in this year’s walk. Each walker is being challenged to try to raise at least $111 this year!
