First Light: Jesus and the Kingdom of God
On January 17th we began a new series called First Light: Jesus and the Kingdom of God. This is a 12-session DVD and web-based study of the historical Jesus and the Kingdom of God with world renowned New Testament scholars Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan on location throughout Galilee and Jersualem.

DBTD is a great springboard for our Young Adult Faith Formation Group. Like its predecessor LTQ, each of the sessions contains a 20-minute DVD segment, with provisions for downloadable participant guides. For young adults wanting to be a part of revisioning Christianity for the 21st century, DBTD translates what it means to follow Jesus in today’s world. Nolan Shigley has agreed to help facilitate these gatherings in host homes on Monday evenings prior to Monday Night Football. Interested?... Speak with Nolan and/or contact Pastor Harvey.
